The Luckman Fine Arts Complex permanent collection has been formed through the generous donations of individuals throughout the Luckman’s twelve-year history.  The collection was initiated in 1998 by the gift of eleven African sculptures and masks by Dr. Margorie Braude, and has since grown to include over one hundred objects.  The collection has been enhanced in subsequent years by a series of thirty-three works on paper donated by Dean Hansell in 1999 and 2000.  The most significant supplement to the collection was the gift of thirty-five works of conceptual sculptures by Peter Norton and Eileen Harris Norton in 2000 and 2001.  Other important works, including drawings and paintings, have been donated by private collectors including Dr. Robert Hesselgesser, Kourosh Larizadeh, and Barry Sloane; as well as by many artists that have exhibited at the Luckman Gallery over the years.
