The Luckman Jazz Orchestra performs several times annually in the Luckman Fine Arts Complex Theatre. In October 2005, the LJO presented its first outdoor concert on the Luckman Street of the Arts. The orchestra has also performed at the “Unique” jazz club and the Town Hall in Berlin; at various venues in São Paulo and Salvador, Brazil; and in Los Angeles at Walt Disney Concert Hall, Faithful Central Bible Church, and Royce Hall, UCLA.

Luckman Street of the Arts
Serving as the main entrance to California State University, Los Angeles, the Luckman Street of the Arts is a grand red brick and concrete esplanade linking the Luckman Theatre, the Gallery, the Intimate Theatre, and the Amphitheatre. Fourteen towering arches frame a sweeping view of the San Gabriel Valley and the San Gabriel Mountains beyond. |
