The mission of the Luckman Jazz Orchestra’s (LJO) is to extend and preserve the art form of orchestral Jazz. The LJO will seek to shed new light on existing masterpieces in the orchestral Jazz idiom and present new works that embrace the cutting edges of modern Jazz.
The Luckman Jazz Orchestra is a professional performing entity of the Luckman Fine Arts Complex, California State University, Los Angeles.
