This exhibition brings together a group of Latin American emerging and mid-career artists whose work draws attention to overlooked conditions experienced in Latin American countries today. Encompassing the first generations to come of age in post-dictatorship democracies, these young artists interrogate and challenge ideas of nationhood through works that provide a complex portrait of a region in the midst of social, economic, and political shifts. This exhibition is curated by Cesar Garcia.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.luckmanarts.org/gallery/galeria-perdida-la-carne-de-burro-no-es-transparente.html"><rss:title>GALERÍA PERDIDA: La Carne De Burro No Es Transparente</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.luckmanarts.org/gallery/galeria-perdida-la-carne-de-burro-no-es-transparente.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

Galería Perdida: La Carne de Burro no es Transparente utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach in the artistic process. Their cooperative employs a variety of media including films, photography, and sculpture. In addition, they organize curatorial projects that focus on the slippages that happen across cultural and historical platforms. Based out of Brooklyn, NY, the artists will be coming to Los Angeles to create a new project for the Luckman Gallery.

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
