Over the last 11 years, the Pan-African Studies Forum has become one of the most vibrant, stimulating gatherings of people committed to advancing Pan-African Studies as the intellectual arm of the wider movement for Black empowerment and racial/social justice. We hope that you will join us this year.

Spring Dance Concert

Students work with renowned regional and international artists as well as faculty and student choreographers to develop new works. Choreographers include: Hae Kyung Lee (who also directs), Jonathan Kim, Elissa Max, Boroka Krisztina Nagy and Mollie Wolf.

Tickets: $15 for general admission and $10 for students.

BALLET HISPANICO

Bring the whole family to a fun-filled journey through Latin American dance and culture featuring excerpts from Ballet Hispánico's diverse repertory and a Q&A with the dancers. 

America's premier Latino dance organization for more than 45 years, Ballet Hispánico brings communities together to celebrate and explore Latino cultures and the shared human experience through dance. Founded by National Medal of Arts recipient Tina Ramirez, Ballet Hispánico has been led since 2009 by Artistic Director & CEO Eduardo Vilaro, who has infused the organization's legacy with a bold and eclectic brand of contemporary dance that reflects America's changing cultural landscape. Through performances of its internationally-acclaimed Company, innovative dance training programs, and community education activities that inspire individuals of all ages and backgrounds, Ballet Hispánico brings the joy of dance and Hispanic culture to the world.

 

Ballet Hispanico will hold summer program auditions on March 24. Only dancers 15 and up will be permitted to audition. Dancers 14 and under are encouraged to submit a video audition.
